Wayne's Guitar Shack was opened 7 years ago with one mission in mind, to be the "Musicians Music Shop".

I have over 16 years experience in the music business, am 36 years old and have toured and recorded with many varied bands during that time. 

I have a wealth of experience in performing and recording having started teaching at the age of 24 and, after acquiring my teaching qualifications (NVQ level 3) I started working at local schools, mainly teaching pupils to play guitar, performing and song writing. 

This led to my desire to open a music shop that offers more than just instruments and this is exactly what Wayne's Guitar Shack is.  Officially opened in June 1998 by Dr and the Medics and Wild Heart from New York.

However I still find time to play in bands, my current ones are:-

Kinky cop, a three piece rock band where all the music is written by myself.  We have appeared on ITV's Young, Gifted and Broke.  Our 2nd CD is out now and both CDs available to buy and listen to online.

Dr Love and the Disco Divas, a 70s tribute band, with girl dancers and costumes, appeared on BBC's Children In Need.

The Ex-Men, a cross between Led Zepplin and Cream, appeared at Rock City in Nottingham.  The CD is out now to buy and listen to online.
